What was Censorship during World War 2?

[Edit]

In WW2 newspapers and news on TV was censored. This is when the government decides what or what not to show the people. For example, many soldiers had seen the effects of war so they didnt want to go back. But with censorship, not as many people would know about it so they would be more likely to go to war. This was why censorship was needed.
