Lady Catherine de Bourgh's behavior in these chapters is characterized by arrogance and condescension, especially towards Elizabeth Bennet. She is determined to assert her authority and social superiority, making demands on her guests and attempting to control the situation. Her attitude is one of entitlement and disdain towards those she views as beneath her in social standing.
