well, i don't no much about New York from 350 years ago, but i will tell u some stuff from now. a few years ago, the hit tv show, the nutty nuts, was filmed in New York. they still film it today in New York animation studios. its in the cartoon hall of fame, right next to SpongeBob SquarePants. every new years eve there is a huge party in New York square to celebrate the new years and it is so awesome! the show is owned by dick clark and is hosted by Ryan seacrest! at this celebration they have concerts by so many awesome singers. for the start of 2011 a few months ago, they had ke$ha, taio cruz, far east movement, back street boys, new kids on the block, and some other artists but i can't remember. New York is also home of the Statue of Liberty. every 100 years, the statue of liberty comes to life and shouts "freedom" while she walks around America. and if a big storm comes and the electricity goes out, she helps citizens light candles using her torch. then she takes a cruz to France and thanks the french for building her. and no i didn't spell cruise wrong. she actually rides taio cruz while he swims across the mighty waters to France. she doesnt make him cuz shes nice but he needs to take his century-ly swim around the world about the time ms. liberty comes to life anyway and hes nice and tells her "hop on! I'll take u to France!" New York is also very noisy with over 7,000,000 people and many taxi cabs.
