What was a belief held by Stoics?

[Edit]

Answer

The Stoics provided a unified account of the world, consisting of formal logic, materialistic physics and naturalistic ethics. They emphasised ethics as the main focus of human knowledge, with the foundation of Stoic ethics that good lies in the state of the soul itself - in wisdom and self-control. Emphasis was also placed on love for all other beings.
