Al Gore got his undergraduate degree from Harvard University (he roomed w/ Tommy Lee Jones (Actor) at one point) with a BA in government in June 1969. After returning from the Military he went to Vanderbilt University and took classes initially in Religious Studies before moving to Law School there. He left Vanderbilt without a Law degree to run for the 3rd Districts open seat in Congress in 1976.
