Nationalists believe that the way that the political processes or social orders in their country are far superior to those of their neighbors, and so they "help" other nations by expanding these superiorities to the "less fortunate". Many nationalists also follow an ideology related to the "divine nature" of their rule. Patriots are the citizens of a nation that do not necessarily wish to extend their fundamentals, but would be willing to defend them if they were to come under threat. These threats could by external or domestic and yet the Patriot still stands guard.
