What was housing like during Great Depression?

Some of the rich who already owned big houses were able to keep them and rent out a few of the rooms. Some of the people who were not so rich to start out with lost their homes because they could not pay the rent or the bills. These people would either just live in the streets, or try to get to a Hooverville to set up a tent or something.
