The basic teachings of Islam are that
1. God is One.
2. God communicates with human beings through human prophets, to some of whom He has given codified books of revelation.
3. God has created angels, intelligent beings without free will.
4. On the Day of Judgment, God will assemble everyone who has ever lived to be judges.
5. Some aspects of life are pre-ordained.
