What was the IQ of Albert Einstein? In: Albert Einstein |
[Edit] |
- Albert Einstein's IQ was around 269. He had taken an IQ test about 2 weeks before he died.
- I'm sorry but the above is incorrect. Einstein's IQ is estimated at between 160 and 180, although it is thought that he never took an IQ test. There are many different so-called IQ tests around, and they yield quite different results, especially at the highest end where their accuracy becomes highly questionable. An IQ of 269 isn't possible.
I agree 269 is not a answer you can have on the iq test. People have examined his brain after he died but couldn't measure his iq well. They estimate it to be about 180. I kindv'e doubt that though...
IQ is meaningless without EQ (emotional quotient). Consider an IQ 200 but an EQ 10, you would be incredibly intelligent but with no emotional capacity to express anything let alone reach you potential of IQ 200
Einstein's IQ was 145(5 points past the singer Shakira)according to him, in the top .01%. He was asked by a little child in a letter how intelligent he was and he replied with the number 145(I wouldn't be surprised if his score was highly below average on "Working Memory" and the one to do with organizations). Right at genius. However, IQ doesn't always mean intelligence, all it states is the tester's ability to learn, not to advance or think. As such, it's common place that better students have better IQs, but the title of better student does not always give way to more intelligent person. The thing he excelled at was his thought process, which was amazing, was what allowed him to become such an exceptional scientist(Note: there is not test to measure thought process)
