Day to day life varied according to who you were.

Most people were serfs or peasant farmers. There is a link below to a related question on the life of a serf.

Other people were clergy, knights, ladies, members of the nobility, merchants, craftsmen, royalty, and so on. There are links below to questions on some of these.

During medieval times, the daughters of the nobility were not educated, and many of them never even learned to read or write.

They were expected to learn the "domestic arts" of sewing and cooking, etc. In law, they were considered "chattel" (possessions) of the Lord and could be disposed of as he saw fit.

Their principal worth to him would be to solidify family alliances through marriage. And if the Lord had more daughters than he needed or wanted, he would pack the excess daughters off to the Nunnery.
