People wear clothes, not weapons.

The Paiute used short, flat, sinew-backed bows for hunting and warfare, but they had access only to poor-grade juniper or birch timber and consequently their bows were inefficient. Similarly they could not obtain hardwood long enough or suitable for arrows and usually used cane with a short length of hardwood inserted at the front, with a chipped stone point.

Clubs with stone heads were also used; the stone head was encased in rawhide and attached firmly to a wooden handle.

Some Paiute warriors wore armour of elk-hide, but none carried a shield of any kind. Spears would be extremely rare due to the lack of suitable wood for the shaft.

Throw-sticks were used for hunting rabbits and other small creatures.

Paiutes wore very little clothing because they lived in a very hot climate. The women traditionally wore aprons, grass skirts, and sun hats. The women didn't usually wear any tops. The men traditionally wore breechcloths and sun hats as well. And the men didn't usually wear tops either. But in the winter they wore leather shirts with their traditional clothing. And also in the winter they kept warm under rabbit-skin blankets.
