this topic is about the Irish, Chinese,and Italians having anchor babies.That mwans that the women would give birth in America.The 14th admentment said anyone born in America was a citizen.Their babies were citizens.since they were a minor the parents got to live and get citizensip in America.They debated on making a law to prevent it but the legilaive said no it goes againsit the conistution.

You can't claim citizenship by a ancestor. My family came from Londonderry Ireland in the 1600's to the Virginia colonies, but I can't get Irish citizenship from Ireland because they were Irish. You have to be born in a country to claim citizenship or have a parent from a country to claim duel citizenship.
