August 25,1922 the Cubs beat the Phillies 26-23, the highest scoring game in Major League Baseball History! ---- Can you imagine having watched that game? You'd be dizzy from watching all those runners round the bases ... an incredible game that must have been. I will say the game played October 10, 1924 when the Washington Senators defeated the New York Giants, 4-3, in 12 innings to bring the only World Series championship to town.
