Both series, done around the same time, have that same nostalgic, black and white film look; so it's easy to confuse the two. Especially if it has been some time since you've seen the episode you're thinking of. It was about a man who awakes to find that a poisonous snake has just slipped into the bed with him, and coils up on his stomach under the bedding. He is then forced to remain perfectly still for hours until a, somewhat questionable, friend arrives to help him with his dilemma.
