Their employer, Charlie (voiced by John Forsythe), was never seen full-faced. (In some episodes he was shown from the rear only, where the viewer only saw the back of his head and his arms, assigning cases to the Angels and his liaison, John Bosley (David Doyle) using a speaker phone.
