as distinct from Cartoons- there were ony two regular tv programs- both situation comedies which were about the life and times of a Cartoonist. One was He and She and the strip he drew was called (Jetman). the other was called- and a rather evasive title- (My World, and welcome to it) and starred William Windom who was a bespectacled cartoonist and a family man type.The humro was based on madcap cartoons which mixed cartoons and live action- a cartoon monster animal crawling u0p the very real walls of the apartment towards the bathroom, for example! It was based heavily on special effects,and the works of Jame Thurber, on whom the lead character was played somewhat like.l unlike Thurber"s works(Interwar period mostly) this took place in l969 or thereabouts. Kids called it (The mad Cartoonist) whicdh was a more descriptive title than the one actually used which is vague to say the least and could be a soap Opera or a social-commentary thing.
