A fantastic Comedy/Horror movie that I cannot recommend enough is Sweeney Todd (2007). It has a lot of black humor, but is definately a horror movie and everyone I have spoken to about it agrees that it is a modern day masterpiece. I believe it is star wars because star wars was made a long time ago and that was a popular movie back then.

There really hasn't been a time when Horror movies weren't popular. Audiences have had a taste for the macabre since the invention of film. The first horror films were around in the 1890s although the term 'horror' wasn't used until the 1930s.
Based on box office receipts, the top movie of all time is Avatar.
I had been looking for the name of this movie for a long time. I thought it was a horror movie but I have found out that it was a comedy called "Arnold" and came out in 1973.
