Hitler was a particularly extreme German nationalist. In addition to his hatred of the Jews, which is very well known, he believed other groups were inferior.He was an ardent Social Darwinist, and believed the process of survival of the fittest by natural selection should be artificially sped up by the government; for example by killing 'incurables' and various 'undesirables'.He believed conspiracy theories about alleged Jewish and Masonic plans for world domination.Despite the name of Nazi party, Hitler was rabidly anti-socialist. One reason for his antisemitism was his view that the Jews were the bearers of socialism and subversion.

Hitler had two dreams. The first was to bring together all Germans in a vast 'Greater Germany'; the second was the expansion of Germany into the virtually 'boundless' territory of the Soviet Union.
