Actually no. I thought he did, but while researching for a school project I realized he was already dispatched to be an ambassador to France before the second continental congress accepted the plan. On the final document, I cannot find any mention of Ben Franklin signing it.

William Paterson certainly did sign the constitution. A lot of his New Jersey plan was similar to the Articles of Confederation, which can be theorized that he had agreed somewhat with what the Articles outlined for the country.

He viewed the constitution as a fair document. That everyone who participated with it got a certain role, and part of it. It was divided with equalality.
