My favorite act of bravery was the swinging gate, done by Joshua Chamberlain. He and his regiment charges a confederate army on Little Round Top. With no ammo they flank the rebels and charge, without knowing Chamberlains regiment had no ammo, the rebels surrendered. Joshua lived through that and he was the leading unit.
On the Confederate side, Colonel Evans turning to engage the Union Army's flanking assault with the few men he had was certainly brave.
On the Union side, Captain Griffin and Captain Ricketts were artillery captains who fought with exceptional courage and competence in the thick of the battle.

the First Battle of Bull Run
"The Battle of Shiloh" is different from "The First Battle of Bull Run" because "The First Battle of Bull Run" had less casualties and because "The First Battle of Bull Run" was the first major battle of the civil war. "The battle of Shiloh" was a two day battle and it was led by Albert Sydney Johnston and P.G.T. Beauregard. They were both strong fighters and they led the confederate army in a surprise attack.
First Battle of Bull RunThe 1st Bull Run was in fact the first battle of the Civil War. The Attack on Fort Sumter only "led" to the Civil War.

If you mean who was "victorious" at The First Battle of Bull Run, it was the Confederates lead by Stonewall Jackson.
