What were the relations between Native Americans and the New England colonies? |

It was very mixed. The natives treated the new comers as individuals and groups. Each colony developed their own relationships making friends with some and enemies with others. And they did not necessarily match up from place to place. And allegences changed with payment in goods and wampum. King Philip's War saw settlers and some Indians fighting with other Indians.
