What were the requirements for being in the Aryan Race? |
[Improve]
It depends on which version of "Aryan" you are discussing. Traditionally, it refers to a linguistic grouping known as "Indo-European". If you spoke an Indo-European language, you were an "Aryan". Recently (as in 19th-21st centuries) it has been associated with Hitler and Nazism, in which non-Jewish Caucasians, particularly of Germanic and Nordic ancestry, were only considered to be Aryan.
