I would start by having the injection pump checked. Sounds like there's a bad seal in it. (A diesel engine sends more fuel to the fuel rail than the engine needs to run, so the fuel pressure will remain constant. The excess fuel is returned to the tanks, which is why your tanks are always hot after driving. The only place fuel and oil are together in one component is in the injection pump, which is on the engine.)
