Do not cut your rabbit's whiskers because they are important sensory tools that help a rabbit navigate in front of them (a blind spot). However, in the accidental case that you do, do not worry; the whiskers will grow back.
I don't think that if you were to cut a cats whiskers that it would hurt them physically. But they need them for balance, to figure out if they can fit through something/ if the space is too small for them to walk through. I believe that once you cut the whiskers on a cat, that they will most likely not grow back. So, just basically saying, DON'T cut off the cats' whiskers.
Your cat uses his whiskers for a variety of functions - a cats' whiskers should never be cut or trimmed.

They are more likely to become stuck in inaccessible places. The cat's whiskers are a very important low visibility aid. They grow to a length that closely matches the widest part of the cat. If the whiskers can pass through a hole, so can the cat. Nocturnal and low light animals use their whiskers in the same way.

When dogs or cats lose their whiskers they generally grow back, the whiskers are used to help them balance, but if they are beginning to lose all of their whiskers this could be a sign of illness.

If the whisker was cut, yes it will grow back. Sometimes if a whisker is burned it will not grow back.Whiskers are hair shafts, just like the rest of a cat's fur. Like every single hair on a cat's body they will periodically shed and then regrow. So yes their whiskers grow back. :)NO! THEY DO NOT GROW BACK! Just kidding. They do grow... :)yes they do

Bunnies often grunt when they are mad or annoyed. When this happens it is best to back off and leave your bunny alone. Something may displease your bunny(causing it to grunt). Your bunny may also sense danger and is preparing to fight or flight. Stamping of the feet(by the bunny) means that the bunny is very mad and angry. I have 2 bunnies.
