Not much. It is a city by-law offense that cannot be pursued out of the state.

The only time it could cause you a problem is if you are stopped in MASS, and they run a computer check on you. In that case they will require you to pay it before you can be released. Usually the cop will follow you to an ATM and wait while you get out the cash to pay the ticket off, at the local Police station.
