There are two bolts that hold it in, the first you can see at the bottom of the starter, it also holds the ground cable on. The second is a long bolt which you need to crawl under the car to get at....
With a wiring diagram and a length of wire that has the same characteristics of the existing wire (same max load, and same gauge) replace it as far as you have to and join them with butt connectors...
