It depends on several factors as not all homes of the same footage are created equally. You may have eleven foot high walls or a vaulted ceiling in one, In other can reach everything in a ranch style home without a ladder and have less wall area meaning less paint and less work. Another consideration is the style of trim and type of paints being used. Do you have to prime it to cover some dark color or can you get by with one coat. Material costs can vary by a hundred percent based on the construction design and surface area of the walls as well as paint quality. Yet another consideration is the degree of difficulty, is it empty, furnished, are the carpets coming out, can you knock it out or do you have to use kid gloves masking everything? If you are looking for a ball park figure you are pretty safe with a dollar for each square foot plus your materials. So anywhere from 3k to 4k would be fair and a small crew could knock it out in four days, a solid week to ten days if your are working alone. Again those time frames are contingent upon the before mentioned factors as well. Good luck
Too much!! Get a pair of overalls for $20, go to the store and buy the paint....and go paint your own house!!
My profit plus what I give to the painter.
That would depend on whether you had to pay for paint, how much paint costs, how many coats you need to give it, and how fast you can paint. If I have to buy the paint, I would ask at least $200 to give it one coat of cheap paint, with no guarantees.
Exterior paint cost can be figured by looking on the back of the can. Look to see how much square footage the can will cover, then divide that into the quoted paint cost.
Almost all paint stores will tint their paint free of charge.
It depends on the region, the design of the house, the type of paint used and how hungry the painter is. For a rough estimate, determine the amount of paint neede and multiply that times two to four to get labor cost.
Charge by the time spent on the project - not the amount of paint.

I charge 30 per hour for that. Obviously costs differ according to local market .
It depends on how good the painting is and if you get a good deal or if you get riped off.
