what would cause my car to run fine when it has first started up then after a while first gear will kinda bog down.
An electrical short to ground.
Warped brake rotors.
My ignition relay was damaged and it caused my starter to go out, which cause my car to shut down.
No. It is very unlikely that pushing a car would cause a failure later.
By itself, the thermostat would have to be stuck closed causing a severe overheat condition to cause a loss of power.
The starter itself.. that would be unlikely... but a wire connected to the starter could on some vehicles.
There are several problems that could cause your car to jerk when slowing down. The most common cause would be a transmission problem.
It cuts down on the wind resistance of the car behind it, which makes that car push the other car faster than the one by itself. Because the one by itself isn't getting a push behind and its not pushed by another car which slows it down!
doubt that a t-stat would cause a car to shut down and restart when cold check for an ignition module proublem
cause it's cool like that!
The weight of the car will cause the force of gravity to push it down with seemingly more force than the lighter car. And so this would make the car go faster down a slanted surface, which is the ramp.
