What would cause a newer Grand Am to have a slight floating or wobble sensation while driving over uneven surfaces and holding the steering straight and still plus the steering does not feel loose? |

On both front wheels, check the front and rear rubber bushings on the lower arm stabilizers where they attach to the frame. I had a 95 GA with both that of these wore out or shrank and caused the stabilizers to be looke and would clunk against the frame, mostly when braking.
