If your lips get purple it would be smart to bet warm fast and drink something hot to heat up your body. purple lips come from being to cold and if your lips are icey blue and your figers are turing blueish than you should get out quick and warm up! though purple lips aren't that bad just whatch your self.

∙ 14y agoA purple ice cream. Or a number of underlying conditions, such as a lack of oxygen being circulated throughout the blood stream. If the lips appear purple or dark blue, the patient is most likely having a difficult time breathing, or the patients lungs are functioning at a suboptimal level; meaning the lungs are not working correctly. If the patient suffers from respiratory disease or illness this may be a sign of the condition. Either way, I suggest they seek medical treatment immediately or contact their primary care physician.
