What would cause the car to loudly click every time you make a turn?

[Edit]

Answer

Bad CV joint. The CV (constant velocity) joint is the "drive shaft" between the transmission and the front wheels. (There's one on each side.) They're not all that tough to replace, but they do cost a few bucks.
