i think that your oil filter failed or a transmission line ruptured. also it might be your gasket might have contracted a leak. It can be a number of things, low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, low or no voltage. are the most common. You should always be aware of the position of the manual guages when everything is operating normally. This way when the check guages light flashes a quick look across the instrument display will tell you what the problem is. If it comes on right away after starting the motor, it is likely the oil or voltage. If it comes on after a bit of driving then likely it is the coolant temperture. One of the gauges will tell the story. Low fuel is one that wasn't mentioned above.
It is telling you that one of the gauges is not within normal range. It could be you are not charging or overheating or have little or no oil pressure.
engine misfire. i have a '96 Chevy blazer but i don't have that problem, i was reading reviews on the car and found out that some of them do that.
A blown fuse can make your dashboard lights to not work in your 1993 Chevy Blazer Tahoe. A burned out bulb can also cause this.
