Among many other reasons, a hearniated disk will cause this. It will be a disk at the higher level of your spine. Please go to the doctor and have this taken care of, later it may become more painful

∙ 13y agoTingling in your left hand or in any part of your body could be a sign of nerve damage. In your hands and wrist the primary cause could be a combination of things.
- You may have CTS (Carpel Tunnel Syndrome)
- You may have Neuropathy (Nerve damage/Loss of Sensation)
- You may have Tendinitis in your wrist.
Pretty much this list could continue. If the tingling sensation does not go away after 24 hours - I would call and schedule an appointment with your Primary Care Physician or visit your local ER.
