If the pain is in the lower abdominal area on the right side, it could indicate appendicitis. It could also indicate an ovarian cyst (pain on either side - not just the right). If you have fever, or if the pain persists, you need to get to a doctor right away, especially if you start vomiting.

A stroke if it's just randomly hurting. Go tell your doctor because you do not want to have a stroke that might cause permanent damage to your body.

Another possibility is gall bladder trouble. If the pain is right-center and just below the rib-cage, there may be blockage in the gall bladder or excess flow of bile, which I have just about every morning. Some medications aggravate this.
