If we did not have our moon there would be no tides on the earth as the moons gravity has a pulling affect on the earths oceans, also some scientists believe the moon has a stabilising affect on the earth if it wern't there the earth would wobble on its axis.
The history of mankind would also be different since early humans relied on the moon to keep track of time.
there is a theory that the moon slowed down the earth and that's how we gained the ozone layer water and all that so really what has happened is the moon created the gravity on earth so if it didnt exist no life could be able to be sustained here it would just be a giant rock
The tides would be much smaller (caused only by the Sun).
Also, scientists believe that the tilt of the Earth's axis of rotation would be less stable.
The night sky would not be as nice, for most people.
The functions of the Moon is:
Keeps away the asteroids from hitting the Earth
Keeping the waves calm
Slows down the spinning of the Earth
Some fictitious characters that needs the Moon, may be hypothetical
Some Gods and Goddesses (I do not believe them but I putted it on for believers) of the Moon may be gone
The Night will be darker
Allows some Animals to breed at Night
(I always look at the Moon and get interest at it) Makes me interest at it
But think of the Moon. Think of it without Gravity, light, and more.
That's how important the MOON is!
The earth still exists but there will be no life in it.
There would be no high and low tides due to the loss of the gravitational pull of the moon on the oceans. Barney9
Without the moon we would have no tides and many of the currents that keep the oceans working the way they do would not exist.
The Apollo 15 spacecraft was a success ,it landed on the moon and the astronauts returned.
The Moon has no atmosphere to protect it. A meteorite that would have burned up on entry on its way to Earth would hit the moon. Also, without atmosphere there's no erosion to fill the crates in and smooth them out. Without any water, more of the Surface is visible.
The moon orbit creates the tides of the ocean, without it earth would flood. Many fish use the Gravitational pull of the moon to direct them when migrating.
there will be no night without the moon.
i think it happend in the the late 1960's that was when neil Armstrong went on the moon
The Earth's rotation is not dependent on the Moon; without the Moon, the Earth would still rotate. However, the Moon's gravitation gradually slows down Earth's rotation, so without the Moon, it is possible that Earth would now be rotating faster. The Earth's rotation is not dependent on the Moon; without the Moon, the Earth would still rotate. No, a planet without a moon would not have extreme tides. Tides are primarily caused by the gravitational pull between a planet and its moon. Without a moon, there would be no significant tidal forces acting on the planet.
no
Yes
Nature would be quite different without it.
the Holocaust would not have happend without World War II.
Without a moon, there would be nothing to cast a shadow on the Earth - therefore, no solar eclipses.

First of all, If we stand on the moon without the spacesuit we will die.
We would not have tides and our see level would rise.
Yes. Earth would exist without the moon, but it would probably be very different from how it is now. The moon has a stabilizing effect on the wobble of Earth's axis. A more stable wobble means a more stable climate. The moon has also gradually slowed Earth's rotation. Without the moon there is a good chance the life could never have gained a foothold on Earth.
