Of course, there could be many reasons. He might want you because you are more secure financially but also psychologically. He might want you because he had a poor or even no relationship with his mother. But, in the end, he might want you because he is mature for his age and he is looking for a woman with equal maturity.
Either way I know of many relationships that have flourished with a younger man and an older woman. This is the case with one of my best friends. In this case the parents dumped the husband in a military school as a teenager.
