either it is loose or some blowby got in to the clamp and slipped it off
blow by through the turbo ,my truck did the same thing had to get the turbo rebuilt
No
Only gas engines use blow off valves.
is this a diesel truck?does this engine have a turbo?if it is a diesel with a turbo,it will blow white smoke when cold till it warms upif it continues to blow smoke check your air filterother reason if it continues to blow smoke is the turbo is about to crater get it checkedalso check engine oil for coolant lossif coolant is leaking into cylanders, this will cause white smoke
Black smoke can be caused when there is an improper air to fuel ratio . This can be anything from a plugged air cleaner,injector,turbo....
Where would you put a blow off valve on a non turbo, and what would it blow off? So the answer is no.
How do you blow a engine turbo.
Check your antifreeze or cooling level this happened to me.
no it wont hert it but there would be no where to drive if of you need to run them of a vacum port of the inlet manifold if you have one then your ok. but it will not give you any performance extra
Yes, but you will hate it and probably blow your engine, not recommended at all. . . . . you would have to reroute the oil flow and exhaust. With out the turbo it would more than likely not un-track it's self. If you are wanting to run the engine for a short time while you are working on it and have the turbo off just put a bucket under the oil supply tube to the turbo.
Too much oil in the pan. Broken piston rings. Bad turbo bearing seals.
No, without a turbo, there is no blow off valve. However, if you really wanted to, they have fake blow off valves for sale. These mimic the sound of a blow off valve. It would be an absolute waste of money, but hey, it's your money.
