to get rear wheel off yardman mower

You can remove a rear wheel from your Husqvarna riding lawnmower by loosening and removing the lug nuts. The wheel should come off.
If you mean the one the secures the rear wheel to the transaxle to drive the machine, then it is a 5/32" square piece of keystock that is 1 1/2- 2" in length and fits half in the slot of the wheel and half in the slot of the axle.
In order to learn how to remove the real wheel on a Cub Cadet riding mower one may want to look on the Cub Cadet forums for advice. For a more efficient fix, though it will cost more, taking it to a lawn mower repair shop might be best.
Use a pair of pliers top remove the rubber hubcap. Then remove the clip near the end of the axle. (you can do this with a screwdriver by prying it in the center) once the clip is off you should be able to pull the wheel and tire straight off.
Most Craftsman mower are held on by a clip. You will need to remove the black hubcap if it is still present. You can pry it off or use a pair of pliers to grab it and pull it off. Behind the hubcap is a "C" shaped clip which can be removed by inserting a screwdriver under the closed end and prying it away from the axle. Remove the washer and pull the wheel off. You're done. There is a keyway (a square piece of metal) that goes between the wheel and the axle that you need to keep and put it back in place when you are done. If it is not in place the mower will not move.
I think I may have just acquired the same or similar riding mower I have the Big-Mow Model 31 it's a 3 wheel front wheel drive very unique looking machine. I am looking for any info on it as well.
