What year was Prague Spring war started?

After 20 years of Soviet domination after WWII, Czechoslovakia tried to become a break away country from the USSR on 5 January 1968 whan Alexander Dubcek took power in the country. The Warsaw Pact countries made their move to bring the country back under communist control by invading on 21 August 1968. The US under Lyndon Johnson was embroiled in Vietnam at the time and incapable of making a gesture in support of Czechoslovakia, No other country was prepared to start WWIII in their support. The break away Republic was not supported and the Cold War continued.
