That's a really nice item, and if you're looking to sell or insure it, you should go to a professional and have them look at it. It would be of interest to a collector in any condition, but things like replacing sights or stocks, or if it's been refinished can really hurt the value. If you just want a ball park idea. Google "Winchester 94" and check out the on-line auctions. Compare yours with others of around the same year of manufacture, with the same features, in the same caliber and condition.
You'll need to bookmark the auctions and go back later to see what the item sold for. There's often a substantial difference between the asking price and what the item actually brings in. Just because I'm asking $3500 for it, doesn't mean anybody's going to pay that much. Check as many auctions as you can find to get a realistic figure.
