When a car is totaled which reference book should be used to determine the retail value of a car?

[Edit]

Answer

ACCORDING TO STATE FARM INSURANCE, THEY USE: EITHER WWW.NADA.COM OR WWW.EDMUNDS.COM BUT MAKE SURE WHEN YOU TALK TO THE TOTAL LOSS TEAM, YOU TELL THEM ALL THE EXTRA THINGS IN YOUR CAR. (ie:STEREO(CD PLAYER), ALARM, REMOTE START, CRUISE CONTROL, TILT STEERING WHEEL, SUN/MOON ROOF, POWER LOCKS/WINDOWS)BUT NEVER TAKE THE FIRST OFFER THEY TELL YOU...CALL THEM BACK WITH THE YES OR NO...BUT TRY TO WORK OUT A PRICE.
