when a girl tell you she likes you but wants time to herself.. well.. it is time for you to move on! don't let her play with your mind, she is saying this to keep you around just incase she feels lonely... if she says she loves you, but need time to think.. then yes wait for her.. give her time to think..

anyway.. don't waste your time with a girl who's not in love with you..

In girl land, that means, "I like you, but not enough to move forward. I want to see what else is available while I have you waiting on the sidelines. I will date you every once in a while(while you pay) to keep you interested, but I have no intention of ever becoming serious." You should never wait. She is up to no good. Dump her. Stop taking her calls. After time, she will be crazy for you, and it's up to you if you want to see her again.

UNLESS; she has some issues like childhood trauma, than she needs to be honest and tell you the truth.

No that doesn't have to mean that she doesn't want to move forward. She could have strong feelings for you but be unsure if she is stable enough to be in a relationship at the moment, She may have feelings for you but she may be wanting to fix herself a little bit before she goes into anything serious, or she may be scared, ask. If you really want to be with this girl then you can wait, if you're serious about wanting to be with her. You never know, this may be something worth the wait.
