Florida does not have monsoon winds. Monsoon winds and rainy seasons only occur in south east Asia. The winds are very strong and the rain is heavy.
Monsoon climates typically consist of monthly mean temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius, and tend to have less variances in temperature. These climates also have have wet seasons and pronounced dry seasons.
The word 'Monsoon' is Indian and means 'Seasons. Over a one year period, there are three seasons. they are cool dry season (winter). A hot dry season, and the hot wet season(the monsoon).
There are two monsoon seasons: the southwest (late May to September) and the northwest (November to March)
unusual monsoon seasons can have negative and positive affects. the monsoon can cause flooding and landslides but if there to little rain it can cause droughts. however the rain can help with growing crops and replenishing india water supply. i hope this helps :)
