Around about l929-3l It is often impossible to precisely date books, due to reprints, different editions, title changes. It has been argued she originally planned a racier more, shall we say(Beat the devil) type of title but it was edited down to (Fun) It could nto have been published later than l93l. She also wrote an account of her Flight in the Friendship( had a numerical title 32 hours something) Of course there werepost-disappearance publications of her writings edited by Mr. Putnam(Last Flight) (Soaring wings). UPDATE This book was published in 1932, just after Amelia Earhart's famous flight across the Atlantic alone.

Amelia mery Earhart?

It is Amelia Mary Earhart, not what you spelled. this is her full name prior to getting hitched up ( in both senses!) a misguided coupling- with George Putnam- yes the publishing family. seems to be a dominant, more or less Phil Spector type conning up bizarre schemes for Veronica- err Amelia. i would be fun if you crossed the plot lines, Amy goes down for the count, but Ronnie- well powers on to Be My Baby!
