There is no such thing as a Microsoft computer, they make software, not hardware.
A computer is a motherboard, power supply unit, processor,hard drive, CD/DVD ROM.
None of which Microsoft makes.
Bill Gates took the idea from apple when he worked for them, and started Microsoft.
There is speculation that he stole it from apple before they had taken measures
to copyright it.
This is why Microsoft is attacked with viruses and hacked more then any other
software. Before Vista and windows 7 hit the shelves, it was hacked and can be run for free and it will update. There are thousands of people running windows that they never purchased it.

∙ 9y agoMicrosoft ummm "borrowed" the graphic user interface from Apple. Apple in turn used concepts from Xerox. So, in strict terms, Microsoft did not invent the graphical user interface (or windows).
Microsoft started work on a new product named "Interface Manager" in September 1981 that it eventually released as "Windows 1.0" in November 1985. This product led to a host of Windows versions, a few of which appear in the list below.
