What is the origin of the terminology 'FAQ'? |
[Edit] |
Origin of FAQs
FAQs became popular in the earliest days of the Internet. Wikipedia cites them as appearing in the early 1980s with the pre-cursors of the Internet. They became widespread with Internet USENET newsgroups.
It's newsgroup FAQs that inspired FAQ Farm (which started in 2002).
