Sino Japanese War from 1937
Mao became a warlord in China, and later became the leader of Red China.
During the Cold war, China was led by its iconic leader, Mao Zedong, who pledged his country's support and allegiance to the Soviet Union in 1949. Later that year, the People's Republic of China (PRC) was formed, exiling the Republic of China (ROC) to Taiwan.
The Chinese Communist Revolution began in 1946 and ended in 1950 with mainland China being taken over by the Communists. The Cultural Revolution lasted from 1966 to 1976.
Mao Zedong preached a philosophy that appealed to China's poor. (He promised to end oppression from landlords and government officials, etc.)
Very carefully
The Russian Army provided the most help. Without Stalin's help, Mao was not strong enough to defeat the Republic of China.
Chiang Kai-Shek was the President of China until October 1, 1949. After that there were two Chinas and Chiang Kai-Shek was leader of the Republic of China and not the People's Republic of China which we call Communist China.
Mao Zedong's Red Guard was his Red Army which took over China and made it communist!
its is Chiang Kai-shek
china
The Nationalist forces had to also deal with the Japanese. They couldn't keep so focused on the Long March. This caused Mao Zedong and the Communists to take over China's government. NOTE: This is a theory accepted by numerous historians.
