Queen Elizabeth I of England was the daughter of King Henry VIII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn.
She was born on 17th September 1533, became Queen on 17th November 1558 and reigned until her death on 24th March 1603.

She came to the throne on the death of her half-sister Mary I on 17 November 1558. Elizabeth I died on 24 March 1603 and had reigned for 44 years and 127 days.
