Probably in the mid 70s like everyone else. Most FJ40s have probably had their engines rebuilt by now, so no need to worry over eroding valve seats. The bigger issue was leaded gas in newer cars and the subsequent damage to catalytic converters. If you have an FJ40 with original engine and are worried you can use a lead additive.

Tlc land cruisers? When did the fj40 use unleaded fuel? Do they still build the old kinds of land cruisers?
