When did Toyota modify their engines to accept unleaded fuel on the FJ40 Land Cruisers?

[Edit]

Probably in the mid 70s like everyone else. Most FJ40s have probably had their engines rebuilt by now, so no need to worry over eroding valve seats. The bigger issue was leaded gas in newer cars and the subsequent damage to catalytic converters. If you have an FJ40 with original engine and are worried you can use a lead additive.
