As early as 8 weeks but by 6 months if they haven't already they most likely are not going to stand. As above yes, at the moment, I have a Chihuahua pup. His name is Bandido, and he is 7 weeks of age, and he is showing the signs of his ears perking higher up. If you wish for them to begin to stand erect sooner. It is a good idea to lightly (not too hardly, or it will hurt them) masage the muscels below their ears. This helps the muscels to become stronger, to be able to lift their ears. But, its known, in some cases, after loosing their baby teeth on one side, or both. Their ears can droop back down. But dont fret, they will rise again. But, its sad to say, in some cases, some Chihuahua's ears never do stand up. But as I've said, masage them. And that WILL help them. Hope your's ears perk up ;) they sure are adorable once they do. ~Indi-
